Teaching English as a Foreign Language

Englishouse, based near Putney Bridge station in Fulham and Wimbledon, teaches English as a Foreign Language by using the specialist Callan Method. Students are typically aged 18-28 and come from all around the world.

We are currently recruiting teachers for evening classes (6-8pm).

Although no teaching qualifications or experience are required you should have excellent spoken English, good communication skills and enjoy working with people.

Here's how we recruit:

• Please come and visit the school and observe one of our Callan Method classes in session.
• Class sessions last 1 hour and start at:
  09.30, 10.30, 11.30, 15.00, 16.00, 17.00, 18.00, 19.00 every day from Monday to Friday.
• Arrive at reception 15 minutes prior to the class session.
• After the class you can speak to the Director of Studies.

Please note that teaching the Callan Method requires little or no preparation.
